Read Down You Fines at Springfield Public Library

Read for fun and money at the Springfield Public Library!

Kids and teens, ages 6 to 17, can read to reduce their library fines. Come into the library and check in at the Children’s or Adult Reference Desk to get started. For every half hour you read in the library, the library will take one dollar off of your overdue fines. You can come in multiple days and “earn” up to a total of $10.00 off.
