Plank Town presents: Springfilm, "Cult Cinema", screening Repo Man
The monthly film and discussion event, Plank Town Presents: Springfilm, is kicking off a new series in September – Cult Cinema!
Through August 2016, Springfilm will have monthly screening of films that may be bizarre, may have been overlooked at their initial release, or may just be your favorite.
In Repo Man, young punk Otto becomes a repo man after helping to steal a car, and stumbles into a world of wackiness as a result. Directed by Alex Cox; 92 minutes; 1984; rated R.
It is presented by Plank Town Restaurant and Brewery and coordinated by a partnership with the Springfield Library and Willamalane Park and Recreation District.
The Cult Cinema series continues: Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 6:30pm with Harold & Maude: Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 6:30pm with Starship Troopers; and Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 6:30pm with Night of the Hunter.
