Chamber Roundtable + Tour: The Life Cycle of a Pothole - Part 2: From Rock to Road
Summer Roundtable Series: The Life Cycle of a Pothole
Part 2: From Rock to Road
Join us for the second installment of our summer series when we'll take a field trip out to RiverBend Materials, a CRH Company located at 90520 Coburg Road in Eugene.
Last month, local ASTEC leadership shared how workforce, supply chain, and regulation plays into the manufacturing industry.
The series continues as we move our focus to the construction/aggregate industry, and how the materials needed for vital infrastructure are processed and transported to work sites. You'll see rock crushing equipment made by organizations like ASTEC in action.
From teacher externships to CDL training, we'll get an up close look at how this organization is investing in workforce training and development. You'll even have an opportunity to take a turn on their new training simulators and test out your truck driving skills!
Following the roundtable discussion, we'll be hopping on a bus, courtesy of Lane Transit District, and taking a drive around the quarry to learn more about RiverBend.
