Background
In September 2023, Willamalane's Board of Directors adopted a new comprehensive plan that will strategically outline the future of Springfield parks, facilities, and recreation programs for the next 20 years. The plan will serve as a roadmap to guide Willamalane's decision-making process, prioritizing projects and providing a framework for fiscal planning. The plan considered the valuable input from more than 3,800 community members, ensuring that the facilities and programs will align with the needs and aspirations of the residents. Ultimately, the comprehensive plan aims to positively impact the community by creating engaging and inclusive spaces that promote health, well-being, and high quality of life for all district residents.
