The AARP Livable Communities Economic Development Workshop will explore how local leaders can advance economic development in urban, suburban and rural communities.
Through four core themes — Built Environment, Digital Connections, Work and Jobs, and Local Economies — the workshop will share best practices, insights and inspiring next steps for meeting the economic development needs of a post-pandemic nation.
This free, two-day, online workshop showcases effective livability strategies, initiatives and programs that benefit local economies for people of all ages.

This is a free virtual workshop. Organizations can organize a group watch party and allow for discussion if they wish. Live sessions will offer the opportunity for questions of experts from across the country.
Fees/Admission
Free for anyone. AARP membership is not required.
American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) members can earn Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for many of the workshop sessions.
