A Race for the Rest of Us - Senior & Disability Services

Senior & Disability Services, a division of Lane Council of Governments, is hosting their 5th annual A Race for the Rest of Us! This is a "race for a good cause" - to raise money for the Senior Meals Program at Senior & Disability Services, which provides food to Lane County seniors who might otherwise go hungry. The distance is a whopping 0.5k - nope, that is not a typo! That is a half kilometer or about one third of a mile, or about 546 yards, or about 1640 feet, or about twice as far as the average good golfer can hit a golf ball off of a tee - you get the idea. Unable to join the race in person? No problem! You can participate in the 0.5k from wherever you are in the world! Every participant gets a T-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a race sticker to show off your race completion and your support for Senior Meals!
