Springfield, Oregon — June 14, 2025 — The wait is over! The Lagoon Playcafé, Springfield’s newest immersive play experience, is making waves with its “o-fish-al” ribbon-chomping ceremony and grand opening celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Located in the heart of downtown Springfield, The Lagoon Playcafé invites families into a whimsical world of mermaids, pirates, sea caves, and under-the-sea adventures. This one-of-a-kind play café features climbable play structures, a glowing sensory oasis, a seaside-themed candy shop, and even live mermaids and a magical saltwater tank.
To celebrate, the Lagoon is offering free soft serve ice cream for all guests on opening day — featuring its signature Vanilla Wave flavor: a delicious blue vanilla treat from inside the cafe. Plus, the first 150 families through the doors will receive a free gift bag filled with exclusive Lagoon goodies!
