Community Dog Adoption Event

Wiggly Tails Dog Rescue and Sheppard Auto Group are partnering to host a Dog Adoption Event on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Volkswagen Eugene, located at 89320 N. Game Farm Rd., Eugene.

This event is designed for the entire Eugene-Springfield community, not just those interested in adopting. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—each one ready for a fresh start in a loving home.

"We are so excited to collaborate with Sheppard Auto Group for this adoption event," says Laura Green, Executive Director of Wiggly Tails Dog Rescue. "It's wonderful to have the support of a local business to help connect our deserving dogs with loving families in the Eugene area."
Event Highlights Include:

• Meet Adoptable Dogs: Spend time with dogs available for adoption and learn their stories.

• Adoption-Focused, but Fun for Everyone: While the heart of the event is helping dogs find forever homes, the day is designed for all pet lovers to enjoy.
• Live Demonstrations from Local Pet Experts: Featuring UpDog Gym, Happy Paws/Laundromutt, Ember Eye Canine, Wags! Pet Emporium, and more.
• Family- and dog-friendly fun: Enjoy food truck (no-host, cash and credit accepted), raffle prizes, giveaways, and a dog costume contest—there’s something for everyone, whether you're adopting or just stopping by with your pup!
