Choose Kindness
The Springfield and Eugene Chambers of Commerce would like to invite you to a special opportunity to meet with other business leaders and the former Mayor of Anaheim California, Tom Tait. A breakfast meeting will be held at 8:00AM on Monday, November 4th at Hilton Garden Inn.
Mr. Tait, CEO of Taits & Associates, ran for Mayor of Anaheim on a platform of community Kindness and freedom (from regulatory burdens) and served two terms. While mayor he used every opportunity to advocate for an increase in Kindness and over time the community changed. During this time the Dalai Lama visited Anaheim 5 times, and President Obama recognized Mr. Tait for the positive changes in the city. Juvenile crime decreased, school suspensions dropped in half, and the city focused on hope and possibilities, with an emphasis on homelessness and service projects.
Please let us know by Thursday, October 31st if you will be attending the breakfast event.
Mayor Tom Tait, a leader in the cities of Kindness movement, is also the keynote speaker at a free community event at the Shedd on Sunday afternoon, November 3.
