RSVP Today for the Middle School Career Day!\nPlease join the Springfield Chamber of Commerce Education Committee along with the Springfield School District at this year's Middle School Career Day on Thursday\, April 6\, 2017\, at Bob Keefer Center (Willamalane).\n\nThis is your chance to influence the future\, as we will be expecting nearly 800 8th grade students from Agnes Stewart\, Briggs\, Hamlin\, and Thurston Middle Schools.\n\nBusiness booths help 8th graders glean an overview of career opportunities and what might be available to prepare them while in high school for post education.\n\n\n\nAlternately\, as a mock interviewer\, your role is to give the students constructive feedback concerning what they can do to improve upon their interview skills. For example\, encouraging them to give a firm handshake or make eye contact\, and helping them to understand how they can relate their personal skills and work experience to career objectives.\n*You must preregister to have a booth. Walk ins will not receive a booth.
