SUMMARY:LunchVox LIVE 2022: New World of Work - The Next-Gen Professionals
DESCRIPTION:New World of Work: The Next-Gen Professionals\n\nJoin the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce for a local look at how next-gen professionals are managing\, leading\, and driving change in their organizations. This program will feature a presentation from Henry Fields\, and a facilitated panel discussion of local businesses who have found success in recruiting next-gen talent.\n\nFrom ASAE Foresight Works - Millennials are now the largest generational cohort in the workforce\, and Generation Z is right behind them. These next-gen professionals are the future of our organizations and\, as Gen Z begins to move into adulthood\, the two generations are showing significant differences in their outlooks and priorities. Professions and businesses facing workforce shortages due to increasing demand for services or extensive boomer retirements place a high priority on attracting and retaining millennials in their workforce. Organizations will need to provide the kinds of training\, mentoring\, content\, and other services that each of these upcoming generations value most\, encouraging engagement that leads to loyalty.\n\nJoin us Friday\, March 25 from 11:45 am - 1:00 pm for New World of Work: The Next-Gen Professionals.\n\n \n\nFeatured Panel Facilitator: Henry Fields\n\nOregon Employment Department\n\n \n\nHenry Fields is the Workforce Analyst serving Lane and Douglas counties with the Oregon Employment Department\, where he provides data to improve business decisions across the region.
