DESCRIPTION:Our first Chamber Roundtable + Tour program of 2024 will center around Lane Community College's new Workforce Hub. Park in Lot B - Meeting will be in Building 4\, Room 106. \n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for presentations by Shelley Tinkham\, VP Academic and Student Affairs\; Justin Chin\, Dean of Workforce Development\; and Grant Matthews\, Associate VP for CTE & Workforce Development\; followed by a Chamber-led discussion on Lane's innovative Workforce Hub\, and how it will integrate education and industry to empower students for success in the workforce.\n\n\n\nFollowing the Roundtable\, enjoy a hardhat tour of the Industry and Trades Education Center (ITEC) building\, the new\, three-story\, 55\,000-square-foot building that will house high-bay industrial spaces\, classrooms\, apprenticeship training laboratories\, and an interdisciplinary fabrication laboratory on LCC's main campus. The ITEC building is scheduled for occupancy as early as November of this year.
