DESCRIPTION:Foundations for Change: Empowering Homeowners through Backyard Solutions\n\nJoin Leadership Eugene-Springfield and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce on May 28th for a roundtable discussion on the future of housing in our area. Speakers include Mark Rust from the City of Springfield alongside local Cultivate architect Dylan Lamar\, and affordable housing developer Tim Olguin. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis panel will offer a comprehensive guide for anyone interested in learning about ADUs\, duplexes\, and other forms of middle housing   what's available\, the development process\, and how it feeds into the housing goals of our community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe panel was convened by one of our Leadership Eugene Springfield class project groups. Choosing housing as their focus\, they conducted several community interviews\, met with city and county staff\, and spoke with developers to gain a deeper understanding of the middle housing work being conducted in our region.\n\n\n\nClick here to download the flyer\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the program\n\nThe Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce's monthly Chamber Roundtable Series fosters interactive discussions on legislation and policy\, community and economic development\, and workforce and talent. Quarterly\, these Roundtables will be coupled with an on-location business tour exploring some of the many unique industry leaders throughout the Springfield area.
