DESCRIPTION:CHAMBER ROUNDTABLE: BREAKING DOWN REGULATORY BARRIERS\n\n\n\nSpringfield Chamber\, Eugene Chamber\, and Oregon Business and Industry (OBI) are hosting a joint Chamber Roundtable February 27th to discuss Oregon's regulatory environment.\n\n\n\nIn conversations with business leaders\, Oregon's regulatory and permitting processes have been identified as one of the biggest challenges facing employers and investors in Oregon. Businesses frequently cite regulatory burdens as one of the major issues that deter them from investing in Oregon. Oregon Business & Industry is working with stakeholders to develop a package of proposals for the 2025 session that will modernize Oregon's regulatory landscape and will prioritize the health and prosperity of our businesses.\n\n\n\nYour input\, feedback\, and experiences with the various regulatory bodies in Oregon will be instrumental in developing this package of proposals leading into the 2025 legislative session. \n\n\n\n-----\nAbout Springfield Chamber Roundtable\n\nThe Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce's monthly Chamber Roundtable Series fosters interactive discussions on legislation and policy\; community and economic development\; and workforce and talent. Quarterly\, these Roundtables are coupled with an on-location business tour exploring some of the many unique industry leaders throughout the Springfield area.
