Measuring the Health of Your Business - with Accounting

A lack of understanding about the financial side of business is one of the biggest reasons why small businesses fail. This course will teach you how to monitor business health and make decisions based on sound financial data. Topics covered include: understanding the accounting cycle, making a ‘cash flow statement’, turnover, variable vs fixed costs, and the importance of ratios and forecasting. (class meets once per week for three weeks).
